Cambridge ICT Starters is designed by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), a department of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), to develop and measure students' skills, knowledge and application in different subjects.

The Syllabus and Assessments provide a framework through which candidates can be assessed reliably against performance standards set in an international context.

Cambridge ICT Starters are suitable for students in primary and secondary education.

All the Levels of the Cambridge ICT Starters are taught through a series of self-contained modules, which are designed so as to initially increase the student's confidence, whilst later providing challenging tasks for them.
